We were also finalists in the “Best Destination Hotel” of the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence. The hotel has a privileged location, next to the Jerez speed circuit, and is just half an hour away from the Beach. Jerez Airport is only 10 minutes away, and Seville airport is just over an hour by car.

The Barceló Montecastillo golf hotel has large rooms following a new concept in room, the B-Room that includes a new design, conserving the classical and elegant style that characterises the hotel, and is equipped with all the comforts of a 5-star. The course hosted the cream of the European Tour for the end-of-season Volvo Masters from 1997-2001, underlining how good the Golden Bear’s layout is. Since then it has received a shot in the arm with a €2 million investment scheme, which included extensive olive tree plantations, a new drainage system and GPS technology.
